A Good Honking Path

Yall, This is a good path. I mean, it is a PATH....man, it was some good walking.

Longjing Tea Hills

Here are some more photos of women (most from Anhui provience) picking tea and joking in the Longjing hills. It kind of makes me want to get a nice big hat.

The Hills of Hangzhou

I needed to get out

The finances associated with attending school resulting in me writting emails for three hours trying to correct errors and, in point, to get the money that was promised to me. But money, money.....who the fuck wants to give it up to an ambitionless pedestrian who just wants to study old old poems in Asia.

So I headed out with a big ol' Hangzhou beer into the hills. Walked, walked, sat on a hill overlooking cackling Anhui women picking tea and joking the day away. What I needed. A good ol' beer on a mountain top in China. Walking on, singing little songs and getting laughed at by the tea-pickers.......a day in the hills. Walked to the edge of the mountains and came upon the river.

River barges.

Buildings.

New China.

Made me want to turn around, so I did. Turn your back on something and it disappears, no? haha. Went back into the mountains and walked through a pending rain shower.
